Another Illustration Friday post. This one is inspired by my son Jack. He is so full of curiosity and determination and I love the way he climbs up on things!
That's really good. One suggestion though is that I think the underside of the table could be darker to give more contrast, depth and work with the bright light source above.
Wow, there are a lot of great things going on here. Right away I like that the viewpoint is from an interesting perspective; the composition is nice and that gesture is gorgeous -- definitely captured the toddler essence there! That fishbowl is rendered especially beautifully, too. I kinda wish his little tootsie wasn’t cut off at the bottom there… that could be a really adorable moment there, and add a little interest/animation to the bottom half. There is nothing more sickeningly adorable than a baby on his tippy-toes, am I right? :-)
